As I show here: youtube.com/watch?v=hW8vm_WCk0c, you can skip killing the dwarf bulborb in Valley of Repose, meaning that you can avoid unlocking Louie for as long as you wish. Here, I unlock Louie after the debt is paid off, meaning that I really unlock the President.
Also, some of you may know about Louie's eyes when he sees a red Pikmin sprout from the Onion. Those eyes may or may not appear on the President as well...
I should note that if you unlock Louie/the President and leave the area via ending the day or entering a cave, then the game will act like a captain has been switched to for the first time when you gain control in the next area. Hence, a glitchy cutscene will often play. At the end of the video, I show this cutscene with Olimar in Emergence Cave.
Note: Olimar will be replaced by Louie or the President when Olimar is dead.
