So I found this randomly while trying to do a little challenge (which didn't have an interesting result). It appears that the 2 invisible walls meet outside of the portion of the map with floor collision, so if you walk toward this intersection, you'll fall as a result of being outside of the map. It's probably not useful.
Does this remind anyone of that spot in Cool Cool Mountain in Super Mario 64?
