This glitch already has some use when used in Perplexing Pool, since it allows Louie to spawn on the spot that is normally accessed using Scale glitch. This almost has a use here in Awakening Wood, but it just doesn't seem feasible to use the napsack before respawning back at the ship.
This glitch seems to occur because the developers only expected this cutscene to activate in Valley of Repose, so these maps use some default coordinates to do the cutscene in. I'm still not 100% sure about the significance of the specific coordinates used.
