As implied ... ! V686 are somewhat robust...
Not much more than a breeze - remote only a 50 meter range.
I was fighting heavy head wind ,pushED it back so i turned IT and it came back 50 meters or so into the tree quick!
Toys "the alike of" V686 are not able to handle wind beyond 3m/s (only bee flown inside or in properly wind shielded areas) - PROBABLY MOST OF THE REASON FOR MOST CRASHES AND THUS UNREASONABLE LAW CHANGES AND BANS AGAINST DRONES, AS MUCH NON UNDERSTANDING THE SEVERE LIMITATIONS ANY SMALL ABSOLUTE-NON-PROFESSIONAL SIZE DRONES HAVE AS POWER AND ITS' SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY!
FOR more information see "Drone Quad-copter flight control demo - Legislation (What they didn't tell you)".
"Unfortunately" toy drones(under 250 grams) are not safe to fly outside where light breeze or "breeze gusts" most often will send a toy size quad-copter from control because it is too powerless.
*** a note about when i say ..."full power"... at around 37:10 in the film, that is an attempt to lift the V686 up because it is sinking from a combination of air pressure change(sinking is how you detect that change and the weather changed from sunny to raining a couple of times in those few days and totaled around 7 or 8mm of rainfall) and from too little throttle power supplied for a short moment.
With small drones it can easily be too late as can be heard a moment before the small drone under 250g (it weighs just over 100g) crashes!
"Headless mode" is not in use making steering a little inaccurate and not precise enough for the required absolute countering of wind direction!
"Headless mode" is a system that can be set from the transmitter to allow the aircraft to respond to control stick signals as though it were always facing away from the transmitter.
Moreover, i wasn't my best that afternoon and the sky was darker than it appears, and i couldn't quite properly judge the paint color positions put on the front two limbs(the color although bold red is on the darker side too).
All remotes should be 150 meters minimum so these things can be fought and brought down safely without damage and to give proper control at all times when this occurs, i had worse and longer distances that day caused by wind.
It really should be capable of 150 meters with the 100% power button for the RC range on any quadcopter, particularly toys!
Wind - the Beaufort scale:
cdn2.bigcommerce.com/server5200/cam6oqe/product_images/uploaded_images/beaufort-wind-scale.gif?t=1398725710
So now you know how much of a massive mistake ordinary batteries are you know why the machine did not respond at the end of the first flight, they finish before the end of the flight and the top line lithium throw away are useless and too expensive also!!
Too judgement of distance loses control range because 50 meters along the ground and 40 meters up is near to 60 meters away and loss of control.
So it is how a drone at 50 meters (with a 50 meter maximum radio control transmit) away becomes a drone blown away at 50 to 100 meters and how 50 meters to 150 meters is where a drone might ever be safely directed and put down if the radio control transmitter range were to be a 150 meter range for safe as possible use outdoor
One more point, 40% power button is for indoor , 100% power button is for flying over the trees , *always press the 100% power button before take-off outside!.*

= = = = =
The dashcam used gives various warnings and misinformation, much of the roads speed limits were sixty KMH are now forty KMH.
The speed camera warning i believe is just spurious garbage, irrelevant whether true or not just like the speed limits it touts, it obviously does not read the road paint or signs. Driving practice route night hours - Sydney NSW Australia](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/NJKKqV0_2do/mqdefault.jpg)

Simple, rust, and less chance of fouling operating parts, but mostly from falling in the water not the spray.
