further adding to a previous video streaming to youtube live from my pico through my phone, I've replaced the phone with.....the pico?
pico 4 has hdmi output which can make this all happen with no performance loss and minimal latency compared to if you were casting over wifi.
also with a setup like this, no PC is needed at all really.
so here's what's needed:
1: a good usb C extension cable, 2mtr seems reliable- optional of course but means only one cable to your head.
combined with a usbc 'dock' that has usb C pd power (to keep charged) hdmi out and a usb A data port (£10-20 on amazon)
2: either a hdmi cable or a hdmi male to hdmi male adapter
3: a cheap usb hdmi capture card, these can be picked up for a little under £10 on ebay
4: if adding a camera feed, then obviously a camera+ output cable, or a usb camera like a webcam
4a: usb hub to have more than one usb input if dock only has one.
5: USB DUAL Camera application- can be installed through Aurora store or sideloaded yourself (see my video on sideloading with pico 4)
6: youtube account to live stream too if you wish, or you can simply record from the USB DUAL Camera app like I'm doing in this video, to later upload to youtube.
