*EDIT* PROVEN FAULT, 3 OF 4 HEADSETS HAD BAD LENSES.
I have noticed with my quest 2 headset, anything that is not directly centre and in 'the sweet spot' is incredibly blurry, I've a cv1, GO and had quest 1 and none of those headsets displayed this issue.
please note, this is one lens only, both lenses have the issue and I can promise you its 10x worse when looking at it with your own eyes in stereo, it's absolutely not normal and is a qc issue with the headsets, possibly bad batch of lenses.
*EDIT2*. I have since returned 3 headsets all with same issue, finally on headset 4 it is all good and normal.
bad headsets were 08/20 and 2x 09/20 manufacturing dates.
the good headset is 10/20 manufacturing date
all 4 headsets from different places over different months, if that doesn't show it's a really bad QC issue I don't know what will
if what you see in your headset looks like the example image on the left linked below then you really should consider returning or refunding- I do not believe any dots or printing on lenses narrows this issue down, only go by what you see with your eyes when wearing it.
