A photo walk is great. A photography workshop is different.
Think of it like football/soccer.
You can play every weekend with your friends, get some exercise, have fun, and maybe improve a little.
But what happens when a seasoned professional steps onto the pitch and starts teaching you specific skills, techniques and mindsets based on years of experience?
That’s the difference.
A photo walk is about getting out, meeting people and taking photographs together.
A workshop should give you structure, insight, personalised feedback and a clear path to improving your photography.
Both have their place. But if you're serious about becoming a better photographer, don't just take more photographs. Learn how to see differently.
