This premium, small-group photography intensive is focused on building emotionally rich photo stories during Chinese New Year — one of the most visually and culturally unique moments of the year.
Over two immersive days at Beijing's Baiyunguan Temple and Badachu Temple Fair, you’ll learn how to create a photo-story centered around the Chinese New Year.
You’ll begin to recognise moments that belong together by photographing with narrative intention. I'll teach you how to build visual coherence across a sequence of images and shape your work into a complete photo essay, not isolated shots
This is a hands-on, in-the-field experience, working side by side with me as we photograph real moments of Chinese New Year as they unfold.
As well as 2 days of personal guidance from me, you will also receive;
– My workshop exclusive 23-page ‘Street Stories Guide’ to help you brainstorm ideas for your photo-series.
– Access to the class group chat on WeChat for daily discussion, updates and posts about photography.
– 1-hour online group follow-up session. Held one week after the workshop to review completed photo essays.
