What are we supposed to do with Pharaoh? Didn't God harden his heart?
Yes, He did. We see this in both Romans 9 and the original account in the book of Exodus.
If we look closely, though, we see that while God did harden Pharaoh's heart, Pharaoh hardened it himself first. God does not harden an otherwise soft heart. He sometimes will put people with hard hearts in positions where they will be further hardened.
Here are some points to consider:
1. Pharaoh made the first decision to rebel
2. God put Pharaoh in a position where he would rebel
3. God had a purpose on Pharaoh's rebellion
Purpose 1: He would bless Israel
Purpose 2: He would punish Egypt
