There are lots of choices for Phantom 3 hard case and backpacks, so I wanted to find affordable versions.
I'm pretty happy with these two cases, and use both the hard case for storage at home (without batteries which are kept seperately in lipo sacks) and for transport in the back of the car, the backpack is ideal when walking with the quadcopter to keep everything together and safe, given neither are expensive, compared with the cost of Phantom I think they are well worth having to keep everything safe in storage and transport.
I typically try not to recommend any specific sellers, as I buy stuff with my own money to try out, but as the hard case is only available from hobbyking link is below.
Backpack is the chinese hard case type, lots on ebay if you search "Phantom 3 hard backpack" I paid £43.99 delivered from UK.
Hard case is the Hobbyking MultiStar Heavy Duty Carry Case for DJI Phantom 3 - I paid £30.51 from UK warehouse.
