Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival brings you "Meet the Filmmakers" episode “My First Love”. Interview with the producers Tøri Gjendal and Thomas Robsahm, interviewer Triin Tramberg.

Mari Storstein is a Norwegian director, writer and producer. She is most well known for directing Søsken (2017), A Norwegian TV Series and producing the TV Series ""Sophie Elise tester Norge"". “My First Love” is Storstein’s debut feature-length film. It follows 19-year-old Ella, who wishes to become an independent adult, but faces challenges due to her disability. After her application for assistance is denied and she is forced to live in an institution, she experiences something completely new -- her first love. This is a coming-of-age story that dives into themes of love, self-acceptance and the importance of being seen.

Tallinna Pimedate Ööde filmifestival toob teieni saate “Meet the filmmakers”, peaosas film “Minu esimene arm”. Intervjuu filmi produtsentidega Tøri Gjendali ja Thomas Robsahmiga, kellega vestles Triin Tramberg.

Mari Storstein on Norra režissöör, kirjutaja ja produtsent. Ta on enim tuntud režissöörina Norra telesarja “Õde-vend” (2017) eest ja produtsendina telesarja eest nimega “Sophie Elise testib Norrat” (2019). “Minu esimene Arm” on Storsteini debüüt täispikk film. See jälgib 19-aastast Ellat, kes soovib saada iseseisvaks täiskasvanuks, aga seisab silmitsi raskustega oma puude tõttu. Pärast seda, kui tema abi taotlus tagasi lükati ja ta oli sunnitud institutsiooni elama minema, kohtub ta oma esimese armastusega. See on film üles kasvamisest, mis sukeldub teemadesse näiteks armastus ja enese aktsepteerimine ning meenutab meile, kui tähtis on olla nähtud.
