Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival brings you "Meet the Filmmakers" episode

With “Easy Girl”, German filmmaker Hille Norden makes her PÖFF debut and unveils her first feature film. It is an honest and finely nuanced portrait of a young woman trying to find her voice in a world that constantly sets limits on her. The story weaves together themes of identity, self-determination, inner conflict and longing for freedom — themes that strongly resonate with the experiences of today’s youth. Norden brings to the screen a fresh, immediate and youth-driven cinematic style that combines sharp social awareness with a realistic look into the protagonist’s inner world.
Hille Norden (born 1998) is a filmmaker, poet and actress based in Kiel. She made her directorial debut with the documentary “Khello Brüder” (2019), followed by “Heimat sucht Seele” (2022). “Easy Girl” is her third film and her first fiction feature.
The film has its world premiere this year at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
