Edit to add: a kind viewer was able to hook me up with the Schapiro paper. It seems like their emphasis was on adding dissociation as a critical aspect of the [relevant diagnosis Im afraid will be picked up by Algi] criteria. At the time, dissociation was entirely its own diagnosis, so the authors were trying to demonstrate that dissociation-type stuff could be found in [relevant diagnosis] itself. Worth noting is that at this point, dissociation is an add-on for [diagnosis].
