This is my compilation of the score to the film Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, composed by Tom Tykwer, Johnny Klimek and Reinhold Heil. Listed below are the tracks I used, in order:
- Prologue - The Highest Point (0:00)
- Streets of Paris (1:45)
- The Girl With the Plums (3:41)
- Distilling Roses (5:19)
- The 13th Essence (7:07)
- Lost Love (9:25)
- Meeting Laura (10:57)
- The Method Works (15:00)
- Richis' Escape (18:16)
- Laura's Murder (21:02)
- The Crowd Embrace (24:04)
I do not own any copyright music from Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, just ownership of this suite. Purchase Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Tom Tykwer, Johnny Klimek and Reinhold Heil on iTunes if you liked the score. This music was such a beautiful sigh when I watched the film, as the film was a very dark tale. Critics thought this score was underwhelming; I thought it was a perfect fit for the tracedy of Grenouille and his unappreciated talent. There are 18 tracks and I used 11 for this suite, a testament to how lush this score is. As always, comments are welcome and encouraged.
