After leaving Zira Perdita returned to her ordinary life with humans. Everything looked good from the outside, but deep down Perdita felt frozen in her daily routine, not happy, not sad, just normal.
And then she saw some homeless dogs dancing and singing on the street. Then she saw Rita. Perdita didn't want to admit she liked Rita from the first sight and how attractive Rita's singing was.
She didn't want Rita to notice her, but Rita did. She gave shocked Perdita directions to street dogs' house, so Perdita can visit if she'd like. Perdita told herself not to go and after some days she came to Rita's place.
Rita was nice to her, they talked, Perdita felt they falling in love and she couldn't keep it in anymore, she told Rita about Zira, about their break up and why Rita shouldn't fall in love with her. After keeping all these feelings down for so long Perdita didn't expect to still feel that guilty and bitter.
Rita looked with sympathy at her, she said she understands and that she also wouldn't leave her friends and move alone to Africa. Perdita slowly started to believe Rita and this new love, blossoming like a new spring.
