The alternative to post-tensioned structures: Peikko’s Frame Solution made with DELTABEAM® Composite Beams and composite columns was developed to encompass all the major benefits of the traditional types of structures in one simple system. The speed of a steel frame combined with the fire resistance of a conventional cast-in-place or post-tensioned structure. When combined with hollow-core slabs, Peikko’s Frame Solution will allow for spans equal or greater than a conventional post-tensioned structure while maintaining the benefits of the slim-floor due to the shallow design of the DELTABEAM®.
