At the intersection of North 'I' St and 12th in North Tacoma, the pedestrian signals are slightly out of sync with the vehicular displays. For the approaches from 12th, this means that the "flashing don't walk" phase extends into the red time for vehicles; the approach from North 'I' also has a syncing issue, although it is not as dramatic. This is not something that I can recall seen before, but, in my experience walking around the area, it has never proved problematic. But it is unusual.
