"I actually have an interesting background because my grandfather was vice-Premier of Thailand. It’s a double-edged sword sometimes because there are a lot of expectations.
I was very against-the-grain. I’m the one that goes to MIT and I started a dance troupe. It became a very big part of my life and my identity, but I never pursued it fully. The most pressure on me is meeting my family’s expectations, but there’s always gonna be some level of criticism. Things can be said to me and I just have to be able to take it, but I can’t ever say anything back. It’s like this sea that just starts to fester and nip at you.
Then I met my husband and everything changed. I ended up really embracing my whole-rounded side more because that was a thing that made me stand out. We waited a long time to find each other and I feel like we have this whole life ahead to make up for."
