We’re springing into spring and so are our peacocks! 🦚
After spending the winter in their cozy back-of-house space, it’s time for our muster of peacocks to return to zoo grounds! 👏 After jumping out of the van, each of our five peacocks immediately started making their way to their favourite spots in the zoo. Be sure to keep an eye out to welcome them back on your next visit! We are home to ‘Andrew’ (yellow leg band), ‘Fabio’ (pink leg band), ‘Lamar’ (white leg band), ‘Bart’ (black leg band), and ‘Phillip’ (blue leg band).
Seeing freely roaming peacocks like this comes with the responsibility to help keep them safe. Remember to keep your distance from the peacocks as you admire them, and be sure not to touch, chase, or feed them. Thank you for your help in keeping our feathered friends safe! 🫶
