🌍 🦍 Happy World Gorilla Day! 🦍 🌍

We are privileged to care for a troop of western lowland gorillas - a species listed as Critically Endangered by the IUCN Red List.

Our troop is led by silverback ‘Jasiri’ and includes females ‘Dossi’, ‘Yewande’, ‘Zuri’, ‘Kioja’, and ‘Johari’, as well as our juvenile male ‘Okabe’. 🦍

These gorillas are more than just residents - they are ambassadors for their species, opening our hearts and inspiring us to take action to protect gorillas in the wild. 💚
