In Ephesians 3, Paul records his prayer for the Church. He speaks of Christ dwelling in our inner being, of being rooted and grounded in love, and then that we may know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge. Paul is describing the experience of new birth and the ongoing relationship of those who have been united with Christ. Sadly, there are millions of professing Christians who have never experienced what Paul is describing.
