There are two essential doctrines which are seldom taught in western churches such as in America. Those doctrines are death to the self-ruling principle of sin, and counting the cost. Millions of so-called ‘christians’ want nothing to do with being a disciple if that means you are not ruling your own life.
By comparison, in countries such as North Korea, China and Iran where severe persecution is common-place, no one is debating if a Christian can have Christ as Savior and maybe later as Lord, no one asks if Christ must be first before mother, father and children, no one asks can I just believe and live any way I wish, no one argues whether repentance is just a change of mind, or if we have free-will.
All of those are the arguments of counterfeit christians who refuse to submit to the will of God…such people have never experienced being born again.
God will never submit to human demands, and He will never impart His divine nature to anyone who has not surrendered to Him as Lord.
