Essays were a sociopolitical and aesthetic medium of reflection for Nobel laureate Toni Morrison, through which she demonstrated a stylistically elegant and forceful moral stance. Assistant Professor of Gender and Women's Studies Patrice D. Douglass (Berkeley University) lectures on Morrison’s essayistic work.
