One of the best wilderness locations on Tenerife is the Anaga Rural Park, home to some of the oldest laurel forests in all of Europe. While there are many great locations to explore within the park, the best and most accessible is the "Path of the Senses" from the Mirador Cruz Del Carmen, which has great views and is a great experience for both the causal and intrepid hiker.
