Since the government was shutdown at the end of 2018 and into 2019, numerous news stories have circulated about the "devastation" of Joshua Tree National Park. On January 20, 2019, armed with toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and a will to do some good, California Through My Lens and myself ventured into the park. What we found was a park that was, at the time, in good shape, and able to be visited safely. Watch the video to see if the media myths were busted in their entirety, or not.
