Path of Exile 2's Increased Item Rarity stat (IIR) affects currency, omens and other items, and not in a small way. Having investment into this stat makes a massive difference to your loot, so much so that IIR has become a mandatory stat on your gear, and soon all builds will call for 150% IIR. Item Rarity should not impact your currency drops at all.
