When I checked new sets I saw this released nearly 10h ago. I expected it to be beaten by that time, but no one was even close. Was a bit confused, but after starting the set I quickly figured out why. This set is absurd and not too great at many parts. Especially the boss achievements were nothing but agony. There are nothing but rng spam and idk when I last did something that rage heavy. The peak was the The Prince without Yellow. I ended up getting it offline, because going live again didn't seem worth and I honestly really wasn't in the mood for it. In total that one alone took me 4 fucking hours.
There were some changes made to the set like instead of not being allowed to drop below 6hp on the final boss you now cant fall down and are not allowed to get 5 orbs or in c9 you only need to collect 7 reds and also get 25 points for that achievement. I think those changes are great, because I already suffered a lot with those nerfed achievements, but I don't get why they were made. Do you release a set and a few hours later without anyone even getting there you realize "oh wait this actually absolutely sucks, I should change it"?

There were a ton of challenge achievements. While some of them were really neat and just a cool puzzle to figure out, others were not that fun to figure out and to attempt. One thing that was super annoying however is that you need to have the patches you need selected before entering each level. Would be so much better if you just weren't allow to use the ability for the patches, instead of killing the achievement once the patch is active.
The set was also kinda broken, so 3 achievements just did not trigger. One was a timer one, which got fixed the next day, so I just redid it. One was a challenge in c11, which I had to send a ticket for and one was for getting the final key. I accidentally touched that key, while looking for red coins and it triggered that achievement. I loaded the state right away, so the game wouldn't save, but when I got the key again in hardcore mode the achievement didn't trigger again. I sent a ticket, but it was ignored, so I had to replay the entire game again. So yeah very cool. When I finally got there again and collected the key, the achievement still didn't trigger. Ticket didn't work and I won't replay the entire thing another time, so I really didn't know what to do. However once I skipped through all the text afterwards the achievement suddenly popped up. No idea why it was way later now, but I am just glad it did.
The final achievement was reading all books and I really don't get why it's required to do in one session. It adds nothing and is just awful, so you have to visit books again you already found and you can't switch to practice mode. The bigger problem was there was no video of anyone getting these books and since it's a decomp hack you can't use cheats and quad doesn't work, so you can't look it up. Choppyer was working on some kind of quad for decomp hacks, but it's not fully done. So in total finding all those books took me 7, yes SEVEN hours and the worst thing is those books were not even unfairly hidden, mostly not even hidden at all, but I kept over complicating it and missed the most obvious spots.
Because of those hidden books and a lot of pretty hard to figure out achievement I decided to add timestamps for this video, in case someone needs help with anything particular.

Update: The set is completely free now, since all damageless bs got removed. Really glad being the only one having to suffer through all of that. This set shouldn't take more than like 10h now, while I had to spend over 30h on it.
