The last video of restoring an AR-3 receiver to working status. I said on the video that I did not make any modifications well that is not correct I did add a 3 conductor power cord for safety , a fuse holder for safety and changed the dial lamps to 1847 commercial grade #47 bulbs .
Final assembly has been completed and the AR-3 works very well it is amazing actually that it receives stations on the AM broadcast band hundreds of miles away with a 6 to 8 foot piece of wire laying on the workbench down in the basement . A real fun project and a great way to fend off cabin fever while the snow gathers outside . 73 and Heathkits forever Bob
