My Husqvarna lawn tractor started squeaking today VERY LOUD it has 36 hours on it since I bought it last year . I found the LOUD squeaking to be coming from the outer plastic wheels on the Mower deck and the mower deck supports . First thinking the noise was from the front wheel
area I pumped fresh grease into the zerk fittings on the front wheels and did a test running the mower and SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK the loud squeaking was still there and very annoying . Further investigation showed that both of the outer round plastic wheels on the mower deck
were squeaking loudly . Oiling these and the deck supports cured the squeaking problem . No need to take the mower apart or jack it up to fix this problem all you need is a small oiler that will squirt oil on the round balck outer wheel axles which are like a large bolt and also the deck supports .
Taking the mower out for mowing the lawn the squeaks were completely gone . I really like the Husqvarna mower it does a great job I have the mulching kit installed and it does a great job mulching the grass and is really handy with mulching the leaves in the fall we have big maple trees and there are a lot of leaves .
