The Parachute Drill shown in this video by SwimSmooth Head Coach Paul Newsome can be quite challenging for swimmers. The Parachute Swim Drill features multiple props and in this case, an Endless Pools swim current made by the Fastlane system.

The parachute creates drag, and Coach Newsome ups the ante by combining it with a pool buoy and an ankle band. If you're a swimmer who over-glides, then performing this drill against the constant speed of the Endless Pool will help you correct this irregularity. Look for a constant tension on your waist from the parachute.

Note: beginning around the 2:41 mark, the water distorts the proportional size of the Endless Pools Fastlane® swim-current generator. The Fastlane unit measures just 34"" tall, 18"" deep, and 29"" wide.
