The Panorama Loop and Warren Peak hike covers 13.3 miles with 2,400 feet of gain in Joshua Tree National Park's quieter western section. You'll pass through classic Joshua Tree groves, climb granite foothills, and summit the park's westernmost 5,000-foot point. Warren Peak isn't actually Warren Peak, the true summit sits on private land, but the park's high point still delivers 360-degree views across the desert. This route combines solitude with solid elevation in terrain that feels more remote than the crowded east side. Best hiked fall through spring when temperatures stay manageable.
