It was a bit of a coincidence that one of the Pallas kittens was out on its first voyage of discovery this evening. It was climbing on Mum (as kittens do) when she decided to leave the den - and the cub followed along.
The siblings looked around wide-eyed and wondered what was happening. The whole thing was probably a little scary because they soon curled up close to each other again. After about 20 minutes, everyone was back safe and sound in the den and went to bed for the night.
