In August 2021 Premier Paletteful Packs unboxing and artwork I will be attempting to use oil pastels. This was frustrating and fun at the same time using oil pastels and drawing an eye speedpaint for the first time.

Faber-Castell Oil Pastel 12 Set
Experiment with mixed media with these premium quality oil pastels from Faber-Castell. These are incredibly smooth, rich colors, that blend together so easily! Just rub two colors together and create a new color, add black to shade or add shadows. For even further blending, use the Daniel Smith Linseed Oil. MSRP: $4.26
Daniel Smith Refined Linseed Oil
Linseed oil is an oil painting medium that has been used by oil painters for centuries. The oil is also a very effective medium for blending oil pastels. While the oil has a yellow tint in the bottle, it is a pale oil and won’t affect the colors of your oil pastels. Be mindful that the more oil you add, the longer your artwork will take to dry. Marabu Art Spray
Art Spray is an artist-quality, low-viscosity, non-aerosol acrylic spray paint for use on many different porous/semi-porous surfaces including canvas (treated or raw) paper, wood, leather and fabric. It also works well on minimally absorbent surfaces such as vinyl, polypropylene and polyester. You will find the best results are on the enclosed hard panel. The vivid colors are blendable and do not reactivate once dry, allowing for multiple layers of color and texture in mixed media applications. Your oil pastels and China Markers can be applied directly on top of the spray once the spray as dried. Spray directly in bursts, blend with a damp brush or sponge, paint as you would with watercolors, or even use a dip pen for lettering. Shake vigorously for 60 seconds before use. MSRP: $5.99
China Markers (x3)
A soft, crayon-like pencil-style marker designed to mark on both porous and non-porous surfaces. As the marker wears down, simply pull the string to peel back the paper and reveal more of the marker. Great for outlining or adding highlights to your oil pastel drawings. These are for drawing on top of oil pastels and will not blend with linseed oil. MSRP: $1.40 each
