Painting abstract watercolour botanicals and butterflys and art and artist inspiration.
I start this video painting abstract intuitive watercolour botanicals and butterflies in my Canson XL mixed media , 98lb coil book. I use a number 12 Princeton round watercolour brush, although any brush will do for this relaxation exercise. I show how I like to add mark-making over top of dried watercolour . I discuss a page from a book called "Cultivated", and also pull a card from my Art Poetry deck and from another artist's deck, Adrienne Vita "Love and Magic" oracle deck. I also do a flip through of pages from "World Artist Journal Pages" and discuss my current art and artist inspiration.
