I speed painted this cartoon image using ProCreate on an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil 2.

I was inspired by Pete Bagge, cartoonist of "Hate", a bit by indie-comicbook legend Robert Crumb, and even the Garbage Pail Kids.

I used ProCreate's really nifty feature to automatically record the timelapse video of the sketching and painting process. The video shows the whole creation process, from the initial sketch through to the clean-up, coloring and final shading.
