This is a goblin-like creature (with a shot of Gollum from Lord of the Rings). I started out analog and made a rough sketch with pencil on paper, then inked the outlines. I then rendered the contours with ink. As the final analog step I hatched and shaded the picture. Then I scanned it and continued work on my iPad Pro in ProCreate. I placed only the black lines of ink scan on a separate layer. Then I shaded and colored the picture on the layers beneath.
