Paddling the Verde River
Well, at least I was attempting to paddle. I'm not that good at it yet, but that's OK. But it was a lot of fun for a change and Nick & Scott were pretty patient with me when I struggled to keep up. I can definitely see what they love about it. Just need to do more PT & conditioning on the shoulder before I get back out and do this again. Who would have known that paddling takes a lot of shoulder strength?
Me. I knew that. Actually everyone probably knows that.
Anyway, Nick is back. He's never actually been gone; he's just been out in the wilderness doing Nick things without me. Scott's a really cool dude too, although he seems a little insane. He was talking about paddling the Narrows and along the coast of Canada and stuff where....well, I'd want a bigger boat for that. But he seemed to like it.
So here's my peek into a whole other sport in the outdoors. Enjoy.
