This level is intimidating to get 100% on at first because of its length and confusing layout, but after a quick run through, it's not as bad as it seems. The key is to avoid sequence-breaking and stay on the path(s) you're intended to be on.
One thing you need to watch out for after the galaxian checkpoint is the test of brawn re-activating. Thankfully you can skip it by staying away from the area. I ended up accidentally triggering the test of brawn and failing the first time, so I edited that death out of the video.
