Today is an exciting day as I am archiving one of the rarest games that took me a very long time to find. I already had archived the first Pac-Man and The Ghostly Adventures on the Xbox 360, but for many months I had searched for its sequel. I just could not find a physical copy at any convention that I went to and this became one of those titles that were at the top of my list if I were to ever come across it. Then on a random afternoon I visited a game shop and to my surprise they had a physical copy for the WiiU. I actually had no idea that this game came out on the WiiU, but I finally had a copy and could archive it so that it will not get lost to time.
Pac-Man & The Ghostly Adventures 2 is a colorful and fun platformer that plays it a bit safe since it borrows a lot of mechanics from the first game. But the controls are tight, the different power-ups add variety to the gameplay and you even play as some of the side characters for a complete switch in terms of gameplay style. There are exciting boss battles where you grow in size and overall the game is just fun. Its nothing special, but its great for those who love platform games and want more of those. And most of all I am so, so happy that I can finally close the chapter of the Pac-Man & The Ghostly Adventures 2 as I add it officially to the archives.
