Hailing from the province of Bergamo in Italy, Pietro,released his first single "Happy Children" in 1983. The disc reached #15 in Germany. It was produced by David Zambelli, a DJ and owner of the American Disco record shop in Bergamo.
Pietro’s debut album, “Springtime”, followed in 1984. He ceased working with David Zabelli and began producing himself; releasing his recordings on the historic Durium label. (Durium was the home of Marcello Minerbi’s #6 1965 UK hit, “Zorba’s Dance”.) “Under The Moon” was Pietro’s second recording for Durium but it did not chart.
Pietro has remained active in the music business – mostly behind the scenes – but his discography shows that he was releasing records as recently as 2015.
