Hailing from Stuttgart, Germany, Peter Schilling had a worldwide hit with the English language version of his catchy piece of German new wave music (NDW), “Major Tom (Völlig Losgelöst)”
Peter’s first album, “Fehler im System” went to #1 In Germany in 1982. The English language version, “Error In The System” reached #61 on the US album chart but went all the way to #1 in Canada.
In 2003, Peter released, “Raumnot 6 VS 6”, an album comprising some of his earlier hits. A remix version, “Retrospektive” appeared the following year, featuring this version of “Sonne, Mond Und Sterne”, a song he originally released as a single in 1994.
