Fold the dry ingredients into the wet slowly without over mixing.Coat the blueberries in 1 tbsp flour then food them into the batter. Bake for 40-45 minutes in a preheated oven, until a skewer comes out clean. For the icing I just mixed icing sugar with a few drops of milk and lemon juice until I got the desired consistency. drizzled it over the cake once it was cooled. I've missed you all so much, I missed making videos and seeing your heartwarming comments 🥹🫶My Instagram: instagram.com/bayoona.aTikTok:tiktok.com/@bayoona.aa?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pcHere are the recipes:Apple filled biscuits (I found this on instagram)Dough:*200g butter (room temp)*2 tbsp cornflour *1/2 cup icing sugar (powdered sugar) *2 tbsp yogurt *1 tbsp vinegar apple or white (forgot to record in video)*1/4 cup sunflower or vegetable oil *1 egg*1 tbsp baking powder*1 tsp vanilla*3.5 - 4 cups flour depending on dough Apple filling:*5 apples peeled and grated *3 tbsp sugar (I used brown)*1 tsp cinnamon *(optional) 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Bake in a preheated oven at 160C for 20 minsLet them cool then sprinkle powdered sugar on topSpinach fatayer:Dough:1 cup warm milk 1/2 cup warm water 2 heaped tbsp yogurt 1/4 cup oil 1 tbsp sugar1 tsp salt1 tsp baking powder 1 packet active dry yeast 3.5 - 4 cups flour (or as needed to form a soft dough) Spinach filling:Fresh chopped spinach 2 Sautéed chopped onions3 tbsp sumac1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup pomegranate sauce or to taste (or Juice of 1 lemon Alternative) Salt , pepper to taste I like adding a pinch of chilli flakesDissolve the sugar in the warm milk with the water and add the yeast, let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy. Mix in the yogurt and oil, add in the flour 1 cup at a time with the salt and baking powder, keep adding 1/2 cup flour after the first 3 cups, knead until you get a very soft dough. I hope you enjoy the video :)For the bread rolls, I used my milk bread dough recipe, I just added fresh chopped rosemary in the dough. Then stuffed the balls with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, any cheese you like works well. Then brushed them with egg wash.Milk bread video:youtube.com/watch?v=ObGmGkOCX0EFor the garlic topping, I melted some butter with crushed garlic, some chili flakes and parsley. I let the garlic sauté in the butter just for a few seconds. Brush the garlic butter mixture while the bread rolls are still hot from the oven!For the butternut squash soup:1 large butternut squash 1 whole head head 1 onion2 tomatoes3-4 cups vegetable broth or chicken stock 1/2 cup double cream or as desired Salt, pepper to tastea little onion and garlic powder Pinch of chili flakes if you want a slight punch 1 tbsp sugar Olive oil for drizzling Drizzle olive oil over all the vegetables and roast for about 40 mins until tender. Then blend all the ingredients together including the peeled garlic. add the double cream and bring to a boil. If using a scooper, leave it the slight ball shape (see video) - don't smooth the top. You should get 12 (see Note 3).* Sprinkle with sugar (if using - makes surface slightly crispy), place muffins in the oven.* Immediately turn down to 180C/350F.* Bake for 20 minutes (standard) or 18 minutes (fan / convection) , or until a skewer comes out clean.* Rest in the muffin tin for 5 minutes then transfer to a rack to cool.* Once fully cooled, store in an airtight container - it will stay moist for up to 5 days. I prefer putting it in the fridge for the second rise not the first because its ready to put straight into the oven. This is perfect for when you have guests to prepare it the previous day, or even to enjoy them with a cup of coffee for breakfast. - Use bread flour / strong flour , for a better non crumbly texture. - You can make a simple icing for the topping using just icing sugar mixed with drops of milk and a touch of vanilla. - I used half white half brown sugar for the filling, but you can use only brown for a richer and more dense texture.#Cooking
