This song is a tribute to the women who refuse to blend into the background. I’ve always been deeply inspired by the kind of women who step out "dressed in flames", those who don't wait for permission, but demand the space to paint their own canvas.
I wouldn't have the courage to make my own music or fully embrace the art of being seen without the incredible women who have guided me. From the profound, loving influence of my mother, who shaped my creative soul and taught me to appreciate the beauty in nature, art, and a simple cup of tea, to the friends and mentors who continually push me forward, thank you. You showed me how to own my story, and this song is for you. There have also been plenty of men who have inspired me along the way but this one is for the women.
I wanted to do a dance video for the song and came up with these cool costumes. Dance videos are so much fun to make because of the editing. Trying to match the dancing to the music is hard but fun :-)
