Take one decidedly average, out of shape, middle-aged dual sport rider and put him on a dirt bike specifically designed with the input of Baja legend Johnny Campbell to be a class-winning race bike. What could go wrong?
I spent a week in Canada riding the Honda CRF250RX dirt bike. This isn't necessarily a full or in-depth Honda CRF250RX review, but it is my collected thoughts and impressions from the perspective of someone who probably had no business riding the Honda CRF 250 RX in the first place.

Shockingly, I did not die. CRF250RX off road riding requires more effort than the dual sport and adventure motorcycles that I'm used to, but there are also some decided advantages. The 250RX is incredibly powerful and lightweight, which means you can wheelie and jump the thing at will with ease.
If the dual sport bikes I typically ride are donkeys, then the Honda CRF250 RX is a thoroughbred racehorse.
