Real quick: respect to the dudes I sampled, no harm meant. The dialogue was edited for the track; it's way out of context with the original videos they came from. When OW had its 1st beta wave, a lot of TF2 competive players would put "TF2 Pro Plays Overwatch" or some meme like that to get more hits in their stream. Meanwhile, TF2 fans panicked about how all these TF2 players were leaving to go play OW. Eventually after the first wave of hype, TF2 launched its own competitive beta to compete against OW - but is it enough? Thus, this song was butchered & rewritten in order to convey that good ol' OW vs. TF2 jimmy-rustling nerdrage.

Mad props to Doug for mixing this! Big shoutouts as well to Architect, Strash, Met, Speeder, Sedi, Deton, & anybody who's helped with models. You the real Play of the Game. Also, shoutout to Blizzard and Valve. I like both these games, thank you for the betas, and thank you for nerfing Genji.

"How Do I eSports?" is the dumbest concept album about two TF2 players facing a grave dilemma of utmost seriousness: OW is out, but despite matchmaking, this obviously means TF2’s dead as shit. To fight against this dramatic threat, a plan was devised to revive the hat simulator and its original purpose. The plan? Make more TF2 parody pop cover songs - because more garbage parody covers of popular songs for video games is what indicates a game is eSports. (Yeah, it’s exactly as big of a mistake as it sounds.)
