Hey there, thanks to everyone who voted for this in the Saxxys, as well as everybody who gave me criticism for it! Currently Im working on 2 big products if youve been paying attention to my dA and/or Tumblr as well as some small things here and there. I hope to improve from here on out, and congratulations to those who were nominated and who won some gold Saxton Hale trophies!
This would actually mark my 3rd use with SFM, and an ambitious one at that. The plan was literally to figure out what to do for the Saxxys that wouldnt be a lazy video but be something a little different to stand out from the competition.
I hope Ive delivered on that with our favourite little bird buddy from TF2 kicking some serious Spy ass.

Tip of the Hats is an annual charity video game livestream benefiting Children’s Oncology Services. Their summer camp program, Camp One Step, sends children and youth afflicted with cancer to camp to let them enjoy the experience of being like every other kid, while providing the treatment they need. Cancer is a terrible thing that strikes so many people in the worst ways, but no person, let alone a child, should be defined and limited by the disease.

The context of this was around the release of OW. At the time, Prem & Invite players were abandoning TF2 in favour of the competing game. The whole album parodies the panic during the first wave up, the intro (this track) setting the over-dramatic despair of it all. The title is not a dig at Blizzard though. Well go ahead and say that if youre used to getting pennies from a hat simulator, then really nice butts and particles might be more promising.

How Do I eSports? is the dumbest concept album about two TF2 players facing a grave dilemma of utmost seriousness: OW is out, but despite matchmaking, this obviously means TF2’s dead as shit. To fight against this dramatic threat, a plan was devised to revive the hat simulator and its original purpose. The plan? Make more TF2 parody pop cover songs - because more garbage parody covers of popular songs for video games is what indicates a game is eSports. (Yeah, it’s exactly as big of a mistake as it sounds.)
