Out-of-state buyers are targeting CT’s cheapest homes @ctinsider

There’s no question that out-of-state buyers love to pick up high-end Connecticut property — but data shows they're also grabbing cheaper homes, too.

Mailing addresses from outside of Connecticut account for 9% of all the properties that fall under 50% the state median assessed value.

Those purchases tend to occur in some of the state’s poorest neighborhoods.
