While I accept trash compactors are ugly and outdated, I did not plan on replacing the one in the Liberty as it is useful and it is easier than filling the space. Unfortunately, while I was inspection and troubleshooting, I discovered that the trash compactor is broken anyway. So rather than trying to build a cabinet, I decided to replace it and improve the look of the galley and functionality of the motorcoach by installing a very narrow wine cooler. While there are a thousand ways to install anything in a RV, this is the method I went with.
