I saw someone send this level earlier today, and the thumbnail instantly caught my eye. After watching it and seeing how crazy it looks, I knew I had to showcase this on the channel. It can be quite tricky to play due to all the gameplay direction and rotation changes, so it will most likely be around Hard to Insane Demon unless you're really good at mini wave. Luckily, Floppy recorded this, so special thanks to him!
What caught my eye first is obviously the insane texture inside the structures. This is created by overlapping textures with gray scale shaders on top, and the result is a highly detailed black and white design, as seen here. You would think it's a huge amount of objects, but due to the smart way it's made, this is only 19300 objects. As such, it should perform quite well for anyone who wants to give it a shot. This texture isn't the only good thing about the visuals, though, which also have some really nice, fitting custom backgrounds, as well as some red art mixed in here and there (see 0:20). I like how well it compliments the grayscale design.
After the textures and other visuals, what impressed me next is how the wave gameplay is handled, especially during the duals. They get unsynchronized over and over while going in different directions. Perox8 said the setup was really difficult, and I certainly believe him from looking at the level in the editor (it's a mess). However, I think it was worth the effort to make something this awesome. Hopefully it gets the amount of attention it deserves. I will definitely be looking out for more works by this creator in the future!

Ive never seen any of hauxzs works before, so it was pretty exciting to check this out for the first time. The quality of the level is really good, featuring nice designs and art. There are also some cool effects here and there, and the color combinations are great. The coolest part about the visuals, though, is how it all works together for the unique theme. This follows the tech aesthetic from the early 2000s, which was seen on Windows Vista for example. I havent seen anyone make a level with a theme quite like this before, and with hauxz executing it this well, it makes for a special level overall.
The gameplay also lives up to the visual quality to me. Its surprisingly easy to play for the unique ideas it has, such as the part with different sections at 0:17. hauxz did a good job of making the gameplay intuitive and sightreadable. Some parts here and there can be a bit tricky at first, though, especially the quick transitions. All in all, I think it will be rated an Easy Demon. I will be looking out for hauxzs levels in the future!

I originally saw this level due to its amazing car outro, which begins at 9:44 in the video, and it made me curious enough to try the whole level. While that sequence is great on its own, theres a lot more to enjoy in this level than just that; theres about 10 minutes of gameplay first (depending on your pace and not counting deaths). I accidentally forgot to edit out a few deaths in this showcase, but luckily it was only a couple without checkpoints too far back. Its also cool to get to see the little death and respawn animation.
Right from the start, its clear that AwiXan is trying to create an immersive experience with this level. We have a really cool intro sequence with the helicopter crashing, and then were greeted with some text indicating that its the first chapter. There are numerous chapters throughout the level, all with varied visuals and gameplay that fit together. For example, one of the chapters is a futuristic city, and requiring parkour and parachuting as the gameplay makes sense thematically. Because each chapter is executed so well while simultaneously standing out from the others, it makes for a really fun experience exploring the level. The progression also makes sense narratively, making for a satisfying ending once you reach the sick outro sequence.
I will say that the boss at 4:38 was noticeably harder than the rest for me personally, which seems to be the case for other players too. However, I think it makes sense for a boss to be a bit harder to make for a climax, and its not enough to make the overall difficulty very inconsistent in my opinion. With some practice, you should be able to beat this. There are plenty of cool touches I didnt show in this, which you can find if you try this yourself. I definitely recommend it. Once rated, this should be a Medium Demon in difficulty and Legendary at least. It may even get a Mythic rating.
