It's been a couple of years that I've waited for "Atmos" now. All the previews looked amazing, and the full layout was also uploaded nearly 3 years ago. As usual, Marwec made some really cool gameplay that is at least visually pleasing. It's definitely one of the coolest layouts I've seen by him. Seeing that and finding out that it's getting decorated by a stacked team of creators was very hype.
Now that it's out, I'd say the visuals exceeded my expectations. It's consistently amazing quality from start to finish. The color usage is great in every part, featuring some really nice combinations. This is on top of components that already look great, such as the block designs, simple effects, and backgrounds. In particular, I really like the latter, which all have some nature or space art, tying it all together. Of course, this wouldn't work nearly as well without smooth transitions; the team did great on that.
I believe this was originally intended to be a little harder, but after balancing it's gotten a bit easier. It will, however, still be an Extreme Demon. According to Luqualizer, the verifier, it should be around "Nhelv" in difficulty. He also found it pretty enjoyable to beat, so let's hope that is the case for others too. With no major unnoticed issues, this should get a deserved Epic Extreme Demon rating.

This is my first upload of an entry to the NCS Gauntlet Contest. Since I will be judging for the contest and creators still have time to edit their levels, I will not be reviewing the level in this description as I normally do. Its very fun to see entries starting to be finished, though. There are plenty of cool progress videos that Ive seen on YouTube, and Im excited to play them and all other entries once theyre done. I will try to upload as many as possible on the channel before the contest is over. Let me know in the comments if there are any specific ones you want me to upload right now. ILRELL asked me to showcase this a day ago, and I knew itd be worth it right away. I had previously seen G4lvatrons part (1:47) but nothing else. However, knowing his megacollabs, you can rest assured that they will be high quality, at least visually. This was made in 1 week, but that doesnt change much with levels like Twenty Four by some of the same creators being made in 48 hours with great results.
Postbluane has a fantasy theme which is obvious from the very first second. The art in both the background and foreground, as well as the color usage, is amazing in the first part, and similar things can be said for the rest of the level. Of course it isnt completely consistent from part to part, with certain ones being slightly more boring, but thats to be expected in a megacollab with so many creators. The quality stays very high enough throughout the entirety of the level, which is impressive considering the time frame. More importantly to me, every part features a nice take on the fantasy theme, and I like how some of them change it up a lot in terms of art and color. All in all, there isnt much to criticize visually here as I was expecting going into it.
I specified earlier that the visual quality is assured to be high, leaving out gameplay, which was intentional. Making an art level like this often poses some gameplay challenges, and thats even more true in a megacollab which mixes a lot of different styles. A couple of parts had some minor gameplay bugs, such as the dash orb at 0:47, and the transitions can bug a little, such as the one at 0:54. Aside from some minor things like these, I found it pretty enjoyable to play, so with those fixed it will be quite polished in gameplay as well. They are also gonna fix some visual issues. After that is all done, Id say this deserves an Epic rating, and it will probably be 7 Stars.
- COIN RATING -
Silver. 2/4. The level has 2 coins, and neither are completely effortless and free. Theyre at least slightly harder than the normal route. To get a higher rating, they could have been even harder to get, but most importantly have a bit more to them.
• 1st coin: Silver. The first coin, starting from 0:34, is definitely the best of the two. Theres a random orb with fairy wings and an envelope below it, and using it was quite instinctive for me personally. This opens the envelope, revealing a coin, which is quite clever since you have already passed that point after using the orb. After that, the orb and coin fly above you with their fairy wings until 0:37 where you can use the orb to get the coin. The way this is executed is really nice, and I only wish it was slightly harder for a Gold rating.
• 2nd coin: Bronze. At 1:34, the coin is visible below the portals. The first time I saw this I was wondering if I missed a collectible earlier on, but then I tried jumping off the platform early and I got the coin. Its very simple without much to it, and it isnt difficult to do either, so it cant get anything higher than a Bronze rating.

This is the second Legendary rated level in the game, and the first Classic (non-Platformer) one. I think thats a good choice. Its a really cool level visually, featuring detailed art both in the background and foreground, as well as great colors to go with it. With this amount of detail, youd expect it to use many objects, but its really optimized with below 30K objects. This makes it very accessible to players on all devices. Normally, I find art levels with this amount of detail a bit hard to read, as it can be difficult to distinguish the intended path from obstacles. However, that doesnt really apply here in my opinion; its easy to sightread and satisfying to beat when you do it.
The majority of this was made in 2.1, but the part from 1:00 is made in 2.2 (indicated by the text). This makes sense due to the Swing mode, camera rotation and zoom, and the particle usage. galofuf did a great job of incorporating these features well, and fast too as this has already been out for 2 weeks. These new features on top of the the awesome dragon art makes for an epic climax. Im looking forward to what galofuf creates in the future!
